What Is Picture-in-Picture?
Picture-in-picture (PiP) is an optional multitasking feature. It shrinks a video stream or other content into its own box on top of your other apps so that the rest of the screen can be used for other tasks. For instance, you can search for a restaurant in your web browser app while video chatting or watching a video.
PiP is a nice feature for heavy multitaskers who jump from app to app. It’s available on Android smartphones running Android 8.0 Oreo and later.
