Add Music to Instagram Stories With Music Stickers
Follow the below steps to add music to your Instagram story using the Music icon or finding it from the Stickers options:
- Open the Instagram app and tap theYour story icon in the top-left corner to create a new Story.
- Take a new photo or choose a photo or video from your gallery.
- Tap theMusic icon.
You can also tapStickers >Music to open the same music library. The Stickers icon is the one that looks like a smiley face post-it note. - Browse for and tap the music track you want to use in your Instagram Story.
You can select play icons to preview songs before adding one to your Story. - Tap15 and choose the length of the track for your Story and tapDone .

- Tap theMusic sticker to choose a different display style or hide the information altogether.
If you selectAdd Yours Music instead of the Music sticker, you can pinch and resize and drag it to your preferred location. This sticker allows friends to add a song of their own to the story by tappingAdd yours . - Add other stickers, GIFs, and text as usual.
- TapYour story to publish your new Story to your Instagram account.
Alternatively, select the arrow at the bottom right for more sharing options on Facebook, with close friends, or via Message. - When you’re ready to share or publish the Story, tapShare .
